Fantastic news - all we need now is Sane to sign up. Come on Leroy, get it done!

First of a few I would think, not sure who is coming close to the end of their contract, but those near the end of their contract will have a decision to make.

That is great news, we have got a wide range of this young, exciting squad tied down now to long term deals.

KDB, Ederson and now Bernardo signed until 2025, D Silva and Fernandinho until 2021 and 2020 respectively, Otamendi until 2022, Sterling until 2023, Laporte and Stones until 2024 and Foden until 2024 as well I believe, Aguero until 2021 and Jesus upto 2023.

Sane is still until 2021 and Gundogan 2020 are the ones now I believe that are being targetted to sign new deals, and it looks increasingly likely that Ilkay fancies a new challenge, just going off his latest ramblings to the media and at the press conference, which would be a shame to lose him from the club, but he is not irreplacable as good as he is, there are others around in the game who can do that same job he does when the time comes to replace him.

I should also imagine that the likes of Walker, Danilo, Zinchenko and Mendy will also be given new deals in the upcoming future along with the 2 German stars.

Zinchenko is pur most improved player this season. Indeed, sside from Bernardo has been our most consistent player since Christmas. He no longer dives into a tackle and some of his defence splitting passes have been superb.
It would appear that the club have noticed this too and are negotiating an improved deal with him.

I would think Pep knows the players he wants long term, and we have kids who will be looking to make the first team squad in the next three seasons, the one thing we have to change is the money we ask for when we sell a player, we always seem to ask for very little yet have to pay a lot for players we want.
