Managerial Records at Man City since Roberto Mancini

Postby BornBlueWillDieBlue » Tue Jul 09, 2019 2:37 pm

I have had a few minutes to compile the below findings on the 3 guys we have had in charge of this club since the trophies and continued success started to roll in, as doing so before would have been unfair to the other fella's in the dugout when expectations and club quality on the field of play was nowhere close to what it is today.

Hope you enjoy looking at these and seeing the HUGE improvements we have made under Pep compared to Don Roberto Mancini when he started the ball rolling so to speak with the high quality we have come to appreciate since he joined in December 2009.

All Statistics are correct as of the end of the Watford game in FA Cup Final in May just gone, however, I have not counted any Friendlies played in pre-season to these results, only the Charity Shield is down under the "Domestic Cup record" listings when we have played in it anytime.

3 managers and 3 managers who have won the league, plus other trophies as well, not only that but the goals we have scored and conceded with 3 different managers, that as got to be something no other team as done, and the one we have now as got the best record of the lot, i don't think any other team as won what we have won with 3 different managers on the bounce.

I have to say you are right, it doesn't feel like ten years since Mancini won us the league, but that could be because we have made everything look easy, and we have not noticed time going by because we have not had the time, time drags when you struggle and we have not struggled so time as flown by.

The next 10 certainly will. Unless something serious happens in the remainder of the transfer window I can see Utd struggling next season.

Why are to think about the lesser lights in this league, their time ended a few years ago, now it's our time and it doesn't look like ending anytime soon.
